FIRST TOUR MISSION

Mission: Tour mission

Prize: Entry to show

Hey guys! So this is pretty big….our first tour mission! We will be taking sign ups for one person to promote each show for free entry. Please only sign up after you have read this entire note and are 100% you can commit to promoting!

Here is what you’ll need to do.

For pre show promotion:

-One of those posters MUST be hung up at the venue prior to the show.

-The other 4 should be placed at places such as records stores, Hot Topic, YOUR SCHOOL, etc. Be sure to write the show info on all of them. Include date, time, venue and other bands.

-You need to Twitter about the show twice. Include date, time, venue, and other bands

-You will need to Facebook about the show twice. Include date, time, venue, and other bands

- Invite all your friends to your show’s event on facebook! (Can be found on Set It Off’s event tab) Take a screenshot of the invite box.

- Print out 40 flyers and pass them out at a show in your area! Try to stick with shows that have bands of the same music stylings as Set It Off. So Brad Paisley and Nickelback would not be your best bet. Take a video of you passing out the flyers! You also need to give me the information for the shows you want to promote so I can approve them.

19 screenshots/pictures pictures total, 1 videos (I need an up close and faraway picture of each poster to see where you hung them)

 

You will need to send me pictures of your pre-show promotion at least 3 days before the show. As a reward for your hard work you will be guest listed to the show! You then will need to promote AT the show.

 

For promoting during the show:

-Five posters should be hung up in the venue. We want to make sure their name is everywhere, so they have an apparent presence at that show.

- The stickers should be PASSED OUT to fans at the show. 

-If they venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that.

(10 pictures. 5 of posters and 5 of stickers being passed out.)

I must also have all of your pictures, emails and the report from the show no later than 3 days after it has passed. If you do not send these in you will not be eligible to receive promo in the future.

Once you know if you want to promote, send me an email at setitoffstreetteam@gmail.com with the subject “Hello My Name Is” with the following information:

• Date of show

• Address for promo. Please put it in the following format.

• Show you want to promote before your SIO date.

NEW MISSION: mtvU COMPETITION

Hey guys!

So as you know, Set It Off is in the running to be the winner of the mtvU Freshman competition! If they win, they will get their video for Breathe In, Breathe Out circulated on mtvU and that is HUGE. So let’s help them out!

This mission will work mostly like the Helena mission. So for each post you make on the internet, screenshot it, and save it in a folder! After the whole week is over, send me all the screenshots at once and depending on how many you do, that’s how many points you’ll receive. 2pts per screenshot! You could post in places like twitter, facebook, tumblr, the Patent Pending tour date events on facebook, etc.

In addition to that though, send a mass message out to 20 of your friends asking them to vote for Set It Off! (5 pts)

Be sure to spread out your posts throughout the week so people don’t get annoyed and feel like they are being spammed! And be creative with your posts!
